I am a self-taught artist and have been an active artist from the time I was a child. Way back in high school I drew editorial cartoons and caricatures for the yearbook and the school newspaper (where I was also a writer and the co-editor).

In the mid-90's I discovered Photoshop, Freehand and Painter; these were my main art outlets for several years, and many of my most popular prints were produced digitally. As an offshoot of this and a digital multimedia/graphics education I became a professional web designer/developer for several years. I am still involved in web design.

I began painting with watercolors in 2002 and up until 2007 it was my favorite medium. Digital graphics recaptured my attention in 2007 when I became enthralled with Illustrator CS2, which has allowed me to maintain my style while producing clean, reproducible graphics for t-shirts and home decor.

I have been producing, marketing and selling original art and print reproductions since 1999, full-time since 2003. My prints sell through my website at Wiener-dog.com. My illustrations are also available on gift products, apparel and calendars at Cafe Press.

My goal is to expand my career in illustration through licensing, magazine, children's book and greeting card illustration.

Below is a snapshot of my work history and other pursuits.
