Sylvina (Latin for "From the Forest") as Queen of the Butterflies, sits for the royal portrait. It has been a long time since Queen Sylvina was a pupa, and sitting to have her likeness created is not as pleasant as it once was. In the eyes and antennae of her butterfly kingdom subjects she is still quite lovely, but in her own mind she sees herself as long since out of chrysalis, here in the autumn of her reign.
